MMC offers dynamic programming that is designed to serve students from a wide array of musical and cultural backgrounds. Our motto is, “Come as you are, and the sky’s the limit.” If your student has never touched an instrument and is looking for introductory group classes, we have you covered. If your student is ready to take their music to the next level, we’re there for you, too.

Our Musical Mentors Exploration (MME) program offers group instruction to beginner music students, connecting students in grades 1 through 5 (and through middle school, at some locations) with a joyful first experience in music-making. Students get to explore a variety of musical genres and instruments, including percussion, ukulele, violin, and recorder, while also receiving “exploration lessons” with a Musical Mentor on an instrument of their choice.

Through our Musical Mentors Academy (MMA) program, dedicated music students study one-on-one on an instrument of their choice. MMC pairs each student with a Musical Mentor that best suits their creative, stylistic, and educational needs. MMA private lessons are offered online and in-person, depending on location and partnerships. Students can choose the Exploration lesson pathway, with ten 30-minute lessons, or the Forte lesson pathway, with twenty 60-minute lessons.

In Summer Sounds, students in MME and MMA get to take six hours of private lessons over the summer, as well as have the opportunity to perform in an end-of-summer recital.
