The evening celebrates MMC’s work in New York and across the country while honoring the Musical Mentors – past\, present\, future – who make our mission possible. \nThe Lotos Club is one of the oldest literary and arts clubs in the United States. This year’s concert will include performances by students\, Musical Mentors\, Grand Mentors\, and guest artists. The evening will include food and drinks\, an online auction\, opportunities to meet the artists\, and time to connect with fellow supporters of music education and mentorship. \nIn the late 1800s\, The Lotos Club’s president Frank Lawrence said “The Lotos Club is ever at its best when paying homage to genius in literature or art.” On May 13\, MMC will celebrate the creativity\, dedication\, and generosity of the mentors who guide the next generation of musicians. DESCRIPTION:Musical Mentors Collaborative (MMC) and Marymount School of New York are partnering to host a one-day event\, “Broadway Bridges\,” that brings together young women from New York City through music\, mentorship\, and performance. \nThe program is designed to create a collaborative musical experience where students learn directly from professional artists while building peer mentorship relationships.
